Why MVVM is a better architecture for a reactive approach?

I've been asked at a job interview why MVVM is a better architecture compared to VIPER and MVP for a reactive approach.

I could not answer the question because all these models split the view from the model, so in theory you can use reactive approach, based on streaming events, rather than messaging between components, with all of them.

Just MVVM was born for that, so it's often used in that way. This is what I've answered.
