Greek letter F with asterisks pattern

Hello guys I have an assignment to do in java. The programm needs to take an integer from the user (L) and draw in L lines the greek letter F (Φ). I tried to code the diamond pattern programm and then change it to become the Φ but it didn't worked. Any ideas on how I can make it work? Please help. Outputs have to look like these :
