design pattern for multiple name value pair or drop down in application

in application we have multiple name value pair or drop down in front end

Eg

E-enabled D-disabled

A-authorised U-unauthorized N-new

Various date formats Various time formats Various input channels Various output channels

There are different solutions 1. For each name value-create master table 2. Have one master for all and load in application at loading time

Please suggest design pattern for this situation ..
