C# Factory Method Design Pattern

I have started learning about design patterns. I am trying to understand a very commonly used pattern called 'Factory Method'. Why it is called 'Method'?

Also, what is the difference between the 'Abstract Factory' pattern and the 'Factory Method' pattern? Little bit confusions for me to understand them.
