Line graph to candlestick or OHLC graph

I have a values of line graph of a stock at regular intervals. Now I am trying to create candlestick graph using that data, the issue i am facing is, precious candle's close is next candle open. something as shown here,here-Ignore the tails of the candles. but this is not how candlestick looks. Sometimes the present candle completely engulfs the previous candle. See this image How do i create something like this ? Am I missing anything ?
