What is a typical practical use case for state management in front end frameworks (Angular, vue e.t.c)

I have been trying to understand the essence of state management. I tried to use tutorials and articles but I really still do not get it.

I keep asking my self why the services is not enough to handle states since all components have access to the service (In angular). Why go extra miles using ngRx, redux to handle state management.

I will appreciate if i get a simple and complex use case of state management.
