Apply Texture to PNG image

I am trying to get a prototype of Tailor4less.com

which would allow subscribers to customize their shirt and add texture to the shirts.

I studied tailor4less.com and tried following there process flow but got stock on the apply fabric pattern to shirt

How to apply fabric pattern to a PNG file (an img tag, not a Canvas tag) i will appreciate a suggestion on how to go about it or where to get resources
