GSP sequential patterns windwow and gaps

The szenario: I have x clusters where photos have been taken. And I prepared a table for gsp with the coloumns tourist, time and each cluster. I am using RapidMiner Studio. GSP needs some parameters like window, max gap and min gap. After a tourist cannot be in two clusters at the same time, what exactely do the above mentioned parameters exactely mean? I would appreciate an example.

What I would like to is this: "I want to have frequent sequences within 3 or x days. So give me all frequent sequences within 3 days".
