Real World Example of Iterator Pattern

I am novice to Software Development, I was studying the Iterator Pattern as documented in wikipedia and got my head banging while understanding the design patterns. Please, help me understand the Iterator Pattern. Could someone give a use-case example of where this is useful in the real world?
