Apple suggested codebase architecture

I am searching for application architecture best practices for building an iOS app. I have found various suggestions from here and there but nothing from Apple. Apple offers great support and guidance on the design aspects of an app and the documentation of its platform's APIs.

Is there any "Apple suggested way" of structuring a codebase for a large iOS app? Any other suggestion is more than welcome!
