design patterns on android

I recently got a task from my professor regarding software design patterns.Specifically he told me to develop an android application(i thought something like an expense manager with firebase)and then implement 10 design patterns of my choice in order to test and compare some software metrics(speed of execution,lines of code,ram,etc).So i am thinking to start with the MVC pattern because it is the most familiar to me.My problem is how i will reconstruct my program with the other patterns and also which patterns are the best for android development.
