Anti-patterns in Agile development, looking for sources etc

I'm currently writing a short essay to discuss how anti-patterns relate to the engineering requirements of agile. I'm not 100% sure about what to talk about as I don't know too much about this topic. Currently, my essays main point of discussion is about how anti-patterns can cause issues with the iterative and evolutionary nature of agile development, as when an anti-pattern is implemented it can often have knock-on effects and can lead to developers using messy workarounds, only making the problems worse. I'm not sure if this is completely correct, so if anyone could let me know it would be much appreciated. Also, if anyone has some good recommendations of sources and or topics to discuss, it would be extremely helpful. Thanks.
