Can some one explain me the this regex pattern in python? re.findall("[a-zA-Z*,*\-!*.]"

re.findall("[a-zA-Z*,*\-!*.]"

This regular expression checks for valid letters, ".", "-", "-", "!" in a word. I understood the first part

[a-zA-Z]

Can someone please explain this?
