Design pattern or best practice for multiple account types registration

I need to build a system for multiple account types registration, example: technical staff, finance staff, security staff,.. They have common fields information, such as: first name, last name, email, phone,.. And each account type has feature fields, such as: technical staff (list of programming skill certificates).

I use Symfony and MySQL. I don't know is there any best practices or other system I can learn from it.
