Database Design for a photo library project

I am new to designing a database and would love to get help on this project. I am building a photo gallery and want to perform these tasks efficiently,

i) Creation of a new folder or upload of a new file at the root of the storage or inside any subfolder. ii) Delete a folder along with all nested files and folders.

iii) Search any filename or folder name .

iv) Store information about photos such as creation date, published etc.

I am interested in the design and the queries that I need to perform to execute these tasks. Can anyone share resources to study about database design
