Design patterns for node backend and react app

I'm starting a new application for practice with Nodejs and React. In my company I'm working on React/graphql project, but there are no design patterns for backend and for frontend and nothing works well. I want to make a social network, something simple, but I want to introduce some design pattern for make practice. Are there any design patterns or best practice for React App and node server?
