What do you think about using design patterns in front end technologies like typescript ? does not it affect bundle size?

Nowadays internet speed and browser performance + hardware gets better and it increases more opportunities. But for example bundle of an angular application seems heavier than size of any other frameworks or libraries.

Writing clear code is also important. I mean that good architecture, usage of design patterns and object oriented approach gets better understanding and time saving in further modifications. But I think using those methodologies enhances bundle size. So what do you think, what is you experience using all those powerful approaches in you front end technologies ? what is alternatives for you ?
