Design pattern for itext PDF generation, how to create a generic reusable component

I have to make a generic reusable component of specific design pattern, to generate PDF, Basically this PDF generator should accept any template with data and could be used across all projects, The template might be an invoice or a brochure or anything, including any upcoming future additions, projects.

Personally I am using a multi-module layout, I am using iText PDF generator.

Need your advice and idea on how to do this in java.
