What to choose Android architecture component or MVP design pattern

I am following MVP design pattern in current application but as you know recently Android provide architecture component to ease Android development and write a better quality of code.

Now in Architecture component we have:- Lifecycle LiveData ViewModel

So my question is just that what should I follow. MVP design pattern or these Architecture component. Thanks in advance for you support.
