Exclude word between other two as regexp

I have now pattern

\bi\b[^.!?]{0,10}\bhate

which catches pattern only in one sentence (not devided by .!? ). But it also catches the opposite sense with 'not' between two words. How to exclude such occurances of 'not' in between two words with maximum distance 10 between them.

Now catches: 'i do not hate'. Would like to exclude that and leave only like 'i do hate' or 'i hate'.
