Which design patter should I use for a project that does file manipulation and system call?

I'm building a python project that calls Clingo which is an Answer Set solver. I do several system calls according to the output of Clingo. There are hundreds of .lp files in the project and they are categorized in different directories. I'd like to access files without writing their location every time. Is there a design pattern for that?
