We have a code in PHP already in place to list the products, to add them to cart and place an order. Currently we are building an Order management system to track the orders. manage returns or exchange.
Should or can order management be a separate component? I am looking to develop a java rest service to manage orders/inventory.
What are the pros and cons of having order management as a separate java component?
