how to implement MVVM with js?

I had researched www and couldn't find an implementation of MVVM pattern written on js. I found MVC implementation on js did small task to understand how code should be organized but i cant figure out MVVM even find examples. I don't want to use any frameworks to implement this pattern. So any information and/or examples would be very useful thanks
