Singelton use in ruby on rails

I have been working on ruby on rails for a long time but I have never encounter the use of singelton. I know what it is singelton and how can we use in ruby on rails application. But I never had any usecase where I can make use of singelton. Can someone share few real time examples of singelton where they have use in their Ruby on Rails applications
