How to design for ipad and choosing best controls with best size , position, and colors ..on screen? [closed]

I want to design App especially for Ipad. So I need the best resource to guide me with chosing approriate controls UI I should use and the size ,position of elements on screen. I know apple Human guide for design but it's not helpful especially with design decision.
