Is it possible to program a database on WPF without ORM and writing classes?

Is it possible to program a database on WPF without ORM and writing classes on C#? I.e. using standard components such as DataAdapter, DataTable, DataSet, DataGrid, TextBox etc and binding? How? Where to read about it?
