what's the meaning of these in the article of "Container Design Patterns for Distributed Systems" [closed]

can you pls help me explain the meaning of "co-" prefix words, such as co-operating,co-ordinating co-scheduled. I can not understand with these in the article "Container Design Patterns for Distributed Systems" ,thanks a lot .

eg :

1. Lets move beyond co-operating containers on a single machine/ node to co-ordinating multi node distributed architecture

2. A set of leader-election containers, each one co-scheduled with an instance of the application that requires leader election, can perform election amongst themselves, and they can present a simplified HTTP API over localhost to each application container that requires leader election (e.g. becomeLeader, renewLeadership, etc.)
