Problems and Issues that might occur with the absence of controller in MVC pattern?

I want to know what are the problems and Issues that might occur with the absence of controller in MVC pattern?? I am student so I only know basics of it .I wanna to implement this pattern on something that is why I am really curious how thing will go wrong if I don't add controller,What kind of issues will occur??
