Having trouble with basic Local Binary patterns [on hold]

I have to write a project in C language and the truth is that I don't really know where to start. My job is to write Local Binary Patterns using texture classification (the basic one, without k-nearest neighbourhood part).

I got through all topics here and none of these could really help me, because most of them refer to Extended LBP (Face Recognition or sth). Every code I found was in Matlab or Python so it didn't help me either. If you have some source code in C language it would be very helpful.

Could you help me, please?
