Intoducing Application Logic & persistent model in my Application

I have gone through this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlkJzgjzL0c & thinking to replace my Model with Persistence Model & add one more Module Application Logic to make my application more responsive.Currently the Flow pattern is similar as below :

Can anyone provide me some tutorial or any link so that i can start playing with my code.
