Where is ManagedBean on MVC design pattern

As you know in JSF, there only one Controller that is the FacesServlet and that jsf is a MVC framwork based on components hat represent the View.And the Model are JavaBeans.

So my question: Where is ManagedBean on MVC design pattern.
