Management a category items via a java design pattern

I have a lot of categories of an object and subcategories of categories. I created a gridview for this categories. In every category, there is an ID, a name and a number of anything. I investiated design patterns. However i could not find optimal solution. Acccording to this situation, I need a java design pattern.
