How organize a project structure: sorting class to folders or packages

Are exist some tips and tricks to organize the project structure using the namespace, folders, packages?
Is there some popular names of folders? (For example, I often see core, common, additional, support, utils) and description of this folders and recommendations to sort classes in this folders?

Not standart IDE project structure and etc!
For clean code and maximal usability for development.

Interesting for Java, Java on Android and C# too.
