Which design pattern does Objective-C Blocks use?

Which is the design pattern that Objective-C Blocks and Notifications use?

I am aware that Notifications use Observer pattern (publish-subscribe pattern) but not sure about Blocks.

Can somebody shed some light on the design pattern used by Blocks?
