Core Data is painful. I've only done some basic modelling with a single entity, using the model as if it was a dictionary. I'm getting a bit more ambitious now and I wish to use Core Data to model a full fledged RPG game.
How would you model the following data structure in a game?
This game has:
- coins experience items you can collect items you can buy (from a shop)
- items you currently have access to (inventory)
- npcs you've met (storing contact info)
- equipped items (your equipped weaponry, armour)
I was thinking of having the following structure:
