Set USB debug on to reset pattern locked phone

I have a locked phone with forgotten pattern lock. Moto Z PLay XT1635-02

I don't have access to enable USB debugging to set Developer Options as phone is locked.

I do have Google account associated with it but I don't see any option to use it to recover data.

I have some important photos that are not yet backed up. So looking for ways to either backup files/photos or reset the lock.

Please provide guidance.

I have tried the below :

And also tried "adb sideload" on the same tarp package. I get Installation error saying Footer is wrong...
