Need a critique of my framework - written in PHP [on hold]

I'm a bit of a novice in PHP, tended to do more front-end programming. I've certainly worked in PHP but nothing too complex and honestly, I tended to write spaghetti code that everyone shits on about PHP.

In an effort to learn more about PHP, especially design patterns and OOP, I decided to write my own framework for my portfolio site. I wrote it in an MVC style pattern, using a templating system for the view and bootstrapped everything through the index.php. I think my OOP is ok but it could certainly get better.

I'd love to get a critique on it: what's working, what isn't, what I can do better.
