how to read remote file content all at a time instead of line by line or character by character

Can any one help me in reading all file content from remote and that too it should read all the file cotent at a time instead of line if line by line or character by character.

I need something like this. List list= Files.readalllines (path. Get (file), standardcharset("utf-8"))
