Validation of an e-learning design pattern-based approach

In the case of my research I have proposed a step by step e-learning software pattern-based design approach (step 1: do this, step 2: do that, etc.) and would like to validate the approach I have proposed by a little experiment. In the framework of an e-learning online discussion forum, I will design a module to analyse and evaluate student's messages on the forum. As I want to validate my design approach, and my patterns, I have to work throught my approach and use as possible my patterns repository to get the desired module. The starting point is the pedagogical requirements that I got from a pedagogical expert. The pedagogical requirements must drive the analysis and evaluation architecture design as well as the user interface and of course the rest of the module design. According my requirements, I have some difficulties to design a pedagogical requirements driven architecture model and a pedagogical requirements driven user interface model, yet, what the validation process must put in evidence.
